Since last session, we’ve warned you about SB-5098, the massive new expansion of deadly ‘Gun Free Zones’ being pushed by Governor Ferguson.

This bill passed the Senate last year, but we blocked it in the House.

But that was last year. Now, just days ago, the Senate resurrected SB-5098 and sent it back to the House for action.

We need every gun owner in the state to email their State Rep. immediately and tell him or her to vote no on this bill!

The impact of this bill passing would be hard to overstate. SB-5098 would ban law-abiding gun owners from carrying in the very places we take our families:

👉 Parks
👉 Beaches
👉 Fairs
👉 Community centers
👉 Playgrounds
👉 Public buildings
👉 Virtually all state and local government property

In other words: half the state becomes a soft target.

And of course, the criminals will ignore all this like they do the rest of Washington State’s gun control laws. That’s why 98% of mass shootings happen in these ‘Gun Free Zones.’

Ferguson and Olympia Democrats know this; they just don’t care.

But this is an election year, and there are a solid group of Democrats who are still worried that passing more gun control will cost them in the midterms.

Now is our time to thunder in Olympia, and make sure everyone knows that anyone who votes for this will pay the price.
