This is breaking news, and it’s bad.
Late last week, Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner filed a massive, 50+ page gun control bill in the U.S. Senate.
In their press release, they made their goal clear: they want to take what the Democrats did in Virginia this session and impose that tyrannical garbage on our entire country.
S. 4439 is not a standard one issue gun control bill.
It’s a sweeping, multi-pronged attack on the Second Amendment that stacks restriction on top of restriction until our rights are unrecognizable.
If you read this bill like I did, the truth is undeniable: this bill has nothing to do with stopping crime. The goal is to disarm gun owners like you and me forever.

(Virginia Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine are the lead sponsors of S. 4439, which would crush the Second Amendment.)
There are dozens of gun control items in this bill. Here’s some of what they are trying to ram through:
►► Immediately ban sales of the AR-15 and all similar rifles
►► Ban private firearm sales and create a national gun registry
►► Ration handgun sales to one a month
►► Bribe states into passing ‘Red Flag Gun Seizures’
►► Dictate how we can store firearms inside our homes
►► Ban homemade firearms, including 80% lowers
►► Strip gun rights over misdemeanor offenses
►► Turn all hospitals and colleges into ‘Gun Free Zones’
►► Make it a crime to fail to report a lost gun within 2 days
►► Expand who can be disarmed by the federal Lautenberg gun ban

Democrat-run states already have some or all of these laws in effect at the state level…and it’s only made crime worse.
Criminals don’t register their guns.
They don’t limit magazine capacity.
And they sure don’t care about being ‘red flagged.’
The Democrats know all of this. They don’t care. This bill was not filed to do anything other than disarm you and me.
If there ever was a time when gun owners could depend on Senate Republicans to automatically shoot down bills like this, those days are gone for good.
They have betrayed us again and again and again. We can’t assume anything.
That’s why we’re moving now, before this gains traction.
We’re mobilizing gun owners across the state to remind Senators Murray and Cantwell that voting for this bill will ensure the Democrats lose big in the upcoming midterm elections.
The Democrats wants the majority back, badly. If they think that backing this bill will cost them the majority, they will quietly kill it — knowing they could simply pass it next year.
